All of the Costa Teguise beaches are safe for all the family.
Each of the six beaches in Costa Teguise are not exposed to big waves or currents making them safe for swimming. Sometimes in winter there may be some waves so take care on these very rare days.
Beach by beach brief guide to the Costa Teguise beaches
Playa de los Charcos:
Playa de los Charcos is the Northern most beach is Costa Teguise. There is great access and parking just next to the beach. At low tide there is not much water in the bay so mid to high tides are best. Access via the car park or along the Costa Teguise promenade.

Las Cucharas beach:
This is the most central, and largest, beach in Costa Teguise. Surround by shops and bars on the promenade adjacent to the beach. Safe beach with sun beds available. The beach is divided into several different areas with water access.

Play El Jablillo:
A very pretty beach sheltered from wind and waves. Lovely golden sand and crystal clear water. Good for snorkelling and swimming. Good close parking with lots of local facilities

Playa Bastian:
Quiet beach with one area with water access the rest a little rocky. Sheltered with good swimming. Little more exposed to waves in winter. Toilets and beautiful restaurants nearby.

Playa del Ancla:
Located near the kings house. Most of the sand is gone meaning laying on the rocks. Very quiet. Close to the hotels to the South of Costa Teguise

Las Caletas beach:
Located to the very south of Costa Teguise. Mainly used by locals. Ok sea access. Nice traditional Lanzarote restaurants and bars nearby.
