Best beaches in Costa Teguise

On the East side of Costa Teguise is the sea. Where land meets sea are some great beaches. All the beaches are sandy. Most beaches have lifeguards and sun beds for hire.

Playa Bastian – sheltered from wind. small and steep water entry. quiet.
El Jablillo – sheltered from wind at Northern end. Very safe. Clear water good for snorkelling.

Melia Salinas beach – golden soft sand.
Los Charcos – best at mid to high tide. quiet. safe. good snorkelling.

The safest beaches in Costa Teguise are El Jablillo, Melia Salinas beach and Los Charcos.
Most of the year all the beaches are extremely safe. Strong winds can bring some waves and currents.

Costa Teguise has a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Las Cucharas beach promenade – Surrounding the Las Cucharas beach is a lovely pedestrian promenade. Take an evening stroll and pick out a favourite bar or restaurant.
