Lanzarote Market guide

Everyone loves a market especially a Lanzarote market. Almost everyday of the week you can find an interesting market to visit. Its a great way to interact with good hearted local residents and experience some of the culture.

The biggest market is the Sunday Teguise market. The rest of the week has specialist markets, crafts, food and much more. There is very probably a market close to you.

Tuesday’s
9am to 2pm – Farmers market in Costa Teguise in Pueblo Marinero. (every week)
10am to 2pm – Crafts and art market in Puerto Calero (every week)

Wednesday’s

Thursday May 2nd

2nd to 5th of May – The Teguise book fair in the Plaza de Constitution.

Music week in Arrecife and the Cueva de los Verdes until 4th of May

Saturday May 4th

Costa Teguise ‘Sun Run’ for charity. Run, jog or walk. Come and join in. Entry fee 5 euros

9.30am to 1pm – Second had market for charity in Calle Rosa 24, Arrecife.

10am to 2pm – Festival of literature, art and dane at the Playa El Pavon in Tias. On today and tomorrow.

7pm – Free concert called ‘Entre Notas y Playable’ by Maria Callas at the ‘Casa de la Cultura’ on the Plaza de la Constitution in Arrecife.

8pm – Piano and Obo concert at the Municipal Theatre in tias on Calle San Antonio. Entry 15 euros.

Sunday May 5th

6pm to 11pm – Sunset Groove music at Lagomar in Nazaret.

7pm – Santiago Auseron in concert at the Cueva de los Verdes. Entry fee 40 euros.

Thursday 9th of May

8pm – Yamandu Costa and El Colorado in concert at the Teatro el Salinero in Arrecife. Entry fee 15 euros.

Friday 10th of May

7pm – Free classical music concert for Spring 24 at the El Fondeadero in the old town of Puerto del Carmen.

8.30pm – Free live soul music concert at the Plaza de la Constitution in Teguise.

8.30pm – Free Jazz Festival called ‘Up and Down Festival of Jazz and world music’.at La Recova in Arrecife. Entry free but booking required.

Saturday 11th of May

Sailfish open water swim from Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen

Costa Teguise ‘Sun Run’ for charity. Run, jog or walk. Come and join in. Entry fee 5 euros

8pm – Classical music with the ‘Affinity Quartet’ and the Cueva de los Verdes. Entry fee 10 euros.

Ironman Lanzarote – starting in Playa Granda, Puerto del Carmen.
