Lanzarote Market guide

Everyone loves a market especially a Lanzarote market. Almost everyday of the week you can find an interesting market to visit. Its a great way to interact with good hearted local residents and experience some of the culture.

The biggest market is the Sunday Teguise market. The rest of the week has specialist markets, crafts, food and much more. There is very probably a market close to you.

Monday 1st of August
Hooray its Fiesta time again in Lanzarote. Starting today until August 14 its the turn of the Fiestas del Carmen in Puerto del Carmen. Everyday you will find some great events taking place in the town.

Friday 5th of August
Great Lanzarote Ska band ‘Skatoons’ are playing in Las Brisas Bar and Restaurant in Playa Blanca. Starting at 9pm

Saturday 6th of August

Yaiza Extreme mountain and trail bike competition, over two days. Entry from 12 to 40 euros

Free paddle board tours in Puerto del Carmen but must register first. From 10:30 to 12:30 by ZEConsciente

Wednesday 10th of August

Live music from Tagoror at the Jardin de Cactus from 11 to 11.45 am
Then at Jameos del Agua from 12.3o to 1.15pm

Friday 12th of August

Start of the Arrecife Carnival called Fiestas de San Gines. Start today and finish on 25 of August

Wednesday 17th of August

Live music from TAgoror at the Jameos del Agua from 11 to 11.45 am
Then at Mirador del Rio from 12.3o to 1.15pm

Thursday 18th of August

Annual trail races in Famara called ‘Famara Total’. Starts today and finishes on 20th of August
