Los Pocillos beach, Puerto del Carmen

Los Pocillos is a long beach stretching between Puerto del Carmen and Matagorda.

Lovely beach at the Northern end of Puerto del Carmen.

This very large beach offers plenty of space but can be a little windy at times. If the wind gets too much there are stone shelters you can sun bathe in.

At large high tides a warm and safe lagoon forms offering hours of safe fun.

The water is not very clear but is pretty safe for swimming.

You will find zocos or stone shelters at the South end can be found for the windy days.

The beach is along side the Puerto del Carmen strip, the road that runs beach side from the North to the Old town harbour in the south of Puerto del Carmen

There are shops and bars nearby for drinks and snacks whilst on the beach.

On the other side of the road is ample parking.
