Playa Honda Beaches

The overlooked beaches of Playa Honda.

From Playa El Cable via Playa Honda and up to the Airport beach are three little used and under crowded beaches.

The  Playa del Cable beach is nice and sheltered and exclusively used by residents. There is a nice dinghy club you often see out at weekend. The beach is sheltered and close to Arrecife. You can park in the car park at the Southern end of Arrecife and have a nice walk along the promenade first or drive to El Cable and park there.

Playa Honda has a very long beach that again is under utilised. The same promenade starting in Arrecife runs through here. Along the promenade are a number of very nice bars and restaurants mainly used by locals. Good prices and good food abounds.

Park at the Southern end of Playa Honda in the beach car park then walk along the promenade and beside the airport. There is another very quiet beach here. Nice sand quality, better used and lower tides. You even get to watch the aeroplanes land and take off.

The three Playa Honda beaches are a real treasure trove of quiet beaches with easy parking and great lunch prospects in one of many great bars.

Playa Honda Beaches, Playa del Cable, Playa Guacimeta and Airport beaches.
