Full guide to Playa Bastian

Playa Bastian is a slightly more rugged beach than the others in Costa Teguise. A little harder to get to but worth it. The sand entry to the sea is at the Northern end of the beach. The rest of the beach has rocks between the sand and the sea. Water is clear and snorkelling is good. Open to the sea and some waves.

Swimming at Playa Bastián
Playa Bastián is a good beach for swimming. The headland at the Northern edge of the beach gives some shelter from sea swells. Many local swimmers take the route up the coast to Playa El Jablillo and back.

Enjoying Playa Bastián
There are lots of different areas to sun bathe. Some lovely sheltered parts on windy days and open parts with sun beds. Playa Bastián can be enjoyed at all tides. At the entry to the beach are some public toilets.

Post beach activities
Overlooking Playa Bastián is the James Bond style Villa Toledo. This is a bar and restaurant the perfectly suits a sunset drink or meal.

Shops are not too far and an amazing restaurant overlooks it.

Palm trees grow out of parts and there are toilets.

Access to Playa Bastián is along the main Costa Teguise promenade.
