Layout and Facilities of Playa Blanca
At you arrive to Playa Blanca along the main road you are in the middle of town.
Turn right at the second roundabout will take you to the port, Club Puerto Chico, Playa Flamingo beach, the aqua park and on to the lighthouse lots of other holiday accommodation and finally Faro Park.
Carry straight on as you enter the town and you are in the town centre with lots of shops, bars, restaurants and everything you would expect in a town centre. Following the road around to the left you enter into the Eastern side of Playa Blanca Along the coast there is Playa Dorada beach, the Rubicon marina with water front shops and restaurants. Continuing East are some high quality hotels and finally just outside Playa Blanca the Papagayo beaches.
Playa Blanca is great to spend a holiday for everyone, in particular the town attracts families and more elderly visitors.
Exploring Lanzarote from Playa Blanca is easily done. Book a hire car of coach tour and you can see the local attractions of El Golfo, Timanfaya National Park, The Green Lagoon, Los Hervidores and much more. Lanzarote is a small island with amazing diversity. Seeing other parts of the island is very rewarding and well worth the effort.
