Playa de la Arena is a very sheltered beach set inside the main harbour of Arrecife. The water is clear and safe.

About 

The beach exists where you would never expect to find a pretty golden sand beach, right inside the main Arrecife harbour.

Set to one side in a corner of the harbour entry the beach is quite pretty with nice sand and rocks either side.

South facing with a high beach wall behind there is great shelter from the prevailing Lanzarote Northerly winds.

Swimming is safe as there are no rips, currents or waves in such a sheltered harbour location.
