El Jablillo beach in Costa Teguise
Lovely sheltered beach in Costa Teguise. There are a few areas to sunbath.
This is a great beach with a lot to offer. Is very safe for swimming as the entrance into the bay has rocks just below the surface, this stops the waves and therefore rips and currents.
The sand is a good light colour and water is very clear. Great for swimming and snorkelling. Located centrally in Costa Teguise it is close to a large assortment of shops, bars and restaurants. If you are visiting by car parking is close by.
Beach area at Jablillo
1 – At the North end seen in the distance on the image. This is a very sheltered sun bathing spot. Even when its very windy you can enjoy a warm day in the sun here. There are also sun beds. Entry to the water is across rock or walk a little further and enter on sand.
2 – Long sandy area running from the Northern end southwards. Good quality sand and easy entry into the sea. Sunbeds and areas to lay your towels.
3 – At the Southern end of Jabillo is a continuation of the previous beach. Again easy entry to sea, no bad currents and good sand.
